- 652Posted by mccannon01 2 weeks, 1 day ago to I just had a reoccurring experience…Seems like the little Stalins are having a hissy fit. If you do decide to leave, it would be a good idea to put a placard in the window fully explaining why before you go. Other businesses have been pilfered or regulated out of existence so maybe a warning of some kind in the window will wake a few up.
- 653If you really want to know the truth, mccannon, 'nicey-nicey' doesn't always work for me.
It's somewhat difficult to get your point across being politically correct, don't you think? And for the most part, my points are extremely sharp! - 654They tried to kill him before the election; I'm sure they will try before the inauguration too.
What in the he** happened to this country? - 655What's the 28th Amendment? I thought the 27th was the last one.
- 656Posted by jack1776 2 weeks, 1 day ago to This isn’t over yet…Wow, that can't be true? "EXPECT drastic actions" to say the least, it would be full war. I couldn't let that stand. Do you have a reference to this, what document is it in? Talk about giving your failed opponents a reason, OMG. That needs to change. I would have thought that the speaker of the incoming administration takes over as POS while we hold another election. Or maybe the Vice President gets the office and sects a new vice president. Never would have thought the looser gets the position.
- 657Posted by jack1776 2 weeks, 1 day ago to I just had a reoccurring experience…I would think not but that would be an expensive battel. If decide to fight, I'm all in. If we decide to pull up and leave, I might try to make a point.
- 658Posted by mccannon01 2 weeks, 1 day ago to My Gawd, Trump did it!I'm not familiar with that artist or his work so thanks for the link.
"Politically correct" (PC) has morphed into "Woke", but it's the same rot. I figure it must have something to do with the dumbed down segment of our society requiring single syllable words of not more than four letters for expression. The rest of us are forced to use them so they can get a glimpse of what we are talking about. - 659Posted by jack1776 2 weeks, 1 day ago to I just had a reoccurring experience…They all are doing it; this is Boise State. It's even in my profession.
- 660Posted by rhfinle 2 weeks, 1 day ago to This isn’t over yet…Thank you. Yes, inauguration.
Disclaimer: I never said I could type. - 661If this doesn't work, they can always invoke the 28th Amendment.
- 662Like children, the anti-capitalists have attacked the vulnerable.
I wonder which permeated Ivy League 'higher' (?) learning facility this is? Oh, doesn't matter, I'm sure they will all be doing it. - 663There were 168.31 million registered voters in 2020, and 158.43 presidential votes cast in 2020. So more than 94% of eligible voters allegedly cast presidential ballots in 2020, compared to 86% in 2016 and 84% in 2012. Add the voters who left the presidential choice blank, and the disparity is even higher.
- 664You don't mean 'before the ELECTION', do you?
Do you mean before the inauguration? - 665The side effects can't be all that bad. Just look at all those happy people cavorting around as the narrator is describing the side effects!
- 666Posted by rhfinle 2 weeks, 1 day ago to This isn’t over yet…As I understand it, if Trump were to die before the election, the law says the second highest candidate would become the president-elect. I would EXPECT drastic actions / Clintonization from the current administration, in order to shoehorn that twat into power. Trump needs to be very, very careful for the next two months.
- 667Are you contractually obligated to fulfill their new demands?
- 668Posted by jack1776 2 weeks, 1 day ago to I just had a reoccurring experience…My wife and I considered backing up and leaving but we are contractually obligated to stay until the end of next semester. We are also considering taking the fight back to them, I want their jobs.
- 669Thanks for the support!! It isn't politically correct to be angry, is it? But then, political correctness is passe, as they say.
Ever see the paintings by Jean-Leon Gerome, of Truth in her Well, and then emerging with her whip to chastise mankind? Well, that is EXACTLY, how I feel!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_C...
(Even the chronicler of Dom Henrique, called the Navigator, Eannes D'Azurara, understood the importance of writing the truth: if we do not know or understand the truth of the past, how can we know or understand how to form the future?) - 670Posted by jack1776 2 weeks, 1 day ago to This isn’t over yet…Would that surprise you now, that the demonrats wouldn’t try this before inauguration day?
- 671Posted by jack1776 2 weeks, 1 day ago to This isn’t over yet…Good point, it’s a trap… They can blame Trump for the shit, that is currently in route for the spinning fan.
- 672Posted by mccannon01 2 weeks, 1 day ago to Post selection memesBy now the people HAVE been shown!
- 673Posted by mimikitten 2 weeks, 1 day ago to Post selection memesYear erased from original . Which I finally found. Thought news here would be more current.
- 674Yes! If there is a real infraction like pouring hexavalent cadmium into the ground, the regulation agency gets the police or marshals to enforce or arrest it, just like any other violation. No agency force
- 675Posted by mccannon01 2 weeks, 1 day ago to My Gawd, Trump did it!Wonderful idea! I never liked the un-American and unconstitutional practice of various agencies inventing their own regulations (not legislation created by an elected body) and then sending out an army of armed bullies to enforce them. These agencies, if still allowed to exist, need their ability to mete out death and destruction removed. The new marshals, as you suggest, can only enforce passed legislation, not invented regulations. Any regulations are free to be used as suggestions of how to proceed properly, but should be up to the people to follow them. They never should have the ability to fine, harm, or jail a citizen.
