Rep. Schiff doubles down again on Trump collusion, calls president's behavior 'deeply unpatriotic and corrupt'

“Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is doubling down again on his condemnation of President Trump, claiming for the second time in a week there is evidence of collusion with the Russians.” –He has stated this for almost 2.5 years and produced no proof yet
“Schiff's comments come in light of Attorney General William Barr's four-page summary of Robert Mueller's investigation, which Barr wrote found no evidence beyond reasonable doubt that President Trump colluded with Russia to swing the 2016 presidential election.” – They are implicitly stating the new AG is lying to the country about the Mueller Report. Given Mueller has said nothing disputing the AG summary if think this is unwarranted.
“The House Intel Committee chair has continued to hammer home his belief that, despite the fact that there are not any further indictments at this time, President Trump committed acts that were "deeply unpatriotic, unethical and corrupt." – Rep Schiff has committed such acts as well as Hillary and several other prominent Dems
“There is plenty of evidence of collusion and corrupt co-mingling of work between the Trump campaign and the Russians,” Schiff said during an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Wednesday. “But I fully accept that as a prosecutor that he couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that crime.” – This is true, except the guilty party is Clinton and her campaign. Millions of dollars to s British spy who used it to buy Russian disinformation so it would be used in an American election. That is collusion with a foreign agent and a foreign government. But no charges were filed against anybody.

All of what you say is true and very applicable except for one thing, about 40% of the country believes him and another 10% are not sure but lean his way. This makes him a dangerous person regardless of the correctness of his position.
Time is eroding his base but he still has a significant following, enough to make things difficult for the President. Only if the MSM starts taking him to task for his stupid shenanigins will his hold on the 40% weaken and finally collapse. Again not something likely to happen. the 10% leaning byt unsure could be more easily convinced by the truth but that won't come easily or from the MSM.
A lot of work remains to be done to settle the crap strom the Dems have generated, especially Schiff and Sadler.

The problem is that the MSM mouthpieces are also heavily invested in the Russia collusion delusion. Schiff and his like will continue to be supported by media folk who hold out hope that somehow, someway, they can find anything, even unpaid parking tickets that can be used as an excuse for impeaching the President. Hopefully, the money people behind "news" outlets like CNN (oh, how the mighty have fallen), MSNBC, Washington Post, and maybe even the NYT will view their falling watcher, subscriber numbers and apply a course correction.

Unfortunately, if the Justice Department does its job and indicts those behind the start of this whole sad, unsupported conspiracy theory, it will only give ammunition for the media to paint it as mean-spirited revenge. What I thought interesting was the CNN interview with James Clapper after the Mueller report came out, where he unhesitatingly pointed the finger at former President Obama as the culprit who started the collusion ball rolling. Indicting such a figure revered by Democrat voters, even if all the evidence pointed directly at his White House, could backfire, so the AG will have to be careful.

They also want to ignore/cover for the real collusion story amongst the FBI/DOJ top brass who schemed up and authorized the investigation in the first place. Because if they go looking very far they find that Robert Mueller's name was on the approval which sold 30% of US Uranium to Russia as per Hillary Clinton...

Yes, that is the strongest motivating factor for the left to keep holding on to the "collusion" bone like a dog.

The WSJ, which used to be a reliable conservative publication, has done its share of anti-Trumpism, with a contingent of rabid "journalists" who churn out hack jobs against him day in and day out.

But sentences like the one below are turning up more and more often, which may mean that some of them are getting the message:

"Perhaps the emerging radicalism on the left is causing voters to think twice about returning them to power."

What to do when a third or so of the sheeple ignore crimes that are done by their demigod and will not or don’t accept reality? ..........Screw them they are a waste of time.
This type of corruption and sedition was percolating in the 50’s and the failed attempt to root out the rot. That failure laid the path for where we are today. The public effort now deemed McCarthyism. The public spectacle blew up in their face. Once the enemy knew the plan and tactic they used it against them. The leftist used the wrap up smear as Pelosi has described on video. The investigation was shattered like a light bulb hitting a brick. This takedown will occur with out warning . The prosecutions of the traitors will occur in Guantanamo Bay and no leaks. Likely When the Declass of the FISA reveals undeniable guilt. The keystone in my opinion is when Ruth Badger Ginsberg’s real condition is revealed and Trump can get her seat. Then it is an automatic lock.
Strange “sightings” of her recently are fishy at best.
The icing on the cake would be that the Mueller report is choke full of Russian / Clinton pay for play deals and the demands to turn it over becomes their kryptonite.
With the Supreme Court majority, justice can be served successfully.
Trumps mentor for a few decades was the chief council for Senator Joseph McCarthy , his name Roy Marcus Cohn. Cohn successfully prosecuted the Rosenstein’s for treason and they recieved the death penalty. Cohn taught Trump to counter punch hard and to know your enemy. Winning bigly.

What I would have liked to have had happen is for Mueller's team to subpoena Shiff for his comments and depose him under oath about his "evidence". Then he would be forced to either admit he has nothing and is merely posturing or go to jail for obstruction of justice for failing to provide it to the Special Counsel. 'Cause if the President isn't immune from a Special Counsel, no Legislator should be either...

That would have been awesome, but it would have done nothing to bring down Trump, which was the goal. I wonder if the Senate can subpoena Schiff and do as you suggest. There must be some way to get pencil neck to put up or shut up.

"but it would have done nothing to bring down Trump"

Which is why it didn't happen. The Mueller team was more than happy to go after all kinds of people who would have actually had evidence if there had been wrong-doing, but chose to ignore the claims from House Democrats who were in a position according to their Committee Memberships to know something. It smacks of just more partisanship - which is what the whole thing has been all along.

Well, it seems that the accusers just don't have the evidence.
One reason I have not believed it is: WHY?!
Why would Russian Communists want Trump as President rather than Hillary Clinton? Isn't she much more like a Communist than he is?

You are using critical thinking. Tsk tsk
How do you feel about Trump (after being told by all the media 93% false negative did I say false
      Slander against our elected leader)?
How do you feel? Think herd mentality.

He is an ass, and I dont even listen to him anymore. He should be impeached (if that is available) and gotten rid of. How he even got into congress speaks volumes for his useless congress really is.

Next two years will see NOTHING accomplished in congress for the benefit of the country. Trump might as well put a blanket veto on anything that comes across his desk.

Technically, you can't impeach a member of the Legislature. Their District can hold a recall election to have him replaced, but that's unlikely to happen given that he's from California...

Ihave to say that it certainly appears that our Congress is broken and is being rendered worthless

Congress began long ago abdicating its true duties by creating bureaucracies so that it could take on the role of being social engineers. If they were restricted to purely Constitutional functions, they'd be too busy to mess with people's lives and livelihoods through their agenda-driven politics.
