  Lots of smelt in the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence river. One year there were so many as we were motor boating near the southern shore of Lake Ontario (between Braddock and Irondequoit bays) they were actually jumping into the boat when we passed over a school of them. Sometimes the beaches are loaded with them. No danger of them becoming extinct at this time that I know of.

Not so sure it is a good idea to take over/purchase/annex Greenland or the Canal or Canada. What would happen when the next dummycrat admin would sell them to Russia. Or let Venezuela "operate" them for a "fee". We have trouble running what we have now.

  Canada and Greenland would be more like an economic union, (actually Greenland was thrilled with the possibilities), while the Canal really should be under our control, We Built it and we should be able to use it at no charge.
