    Magnificent victory in this battle including taking the House and Senate! Trump needs to set up a great staff and clean house as quickly as possible. The Marxists and criminals are not going to let this go unanswered. Lawfare against Trump will continue and even more dirty tricks will be set loose. Kommie-La gave a speech calling for "unity", but we all know that for the lie it is. They will endeavor to rend this country into as many fragments as possible and maybe even burn it down. Hold on to your hats, it's going to get hot and windy.

    Suggestion please...have a friend we talk about everything but politics. Known her for years the difference in our skin color never effected out friendship, but, when expressing through a picture from Townhall my delight. Her response was only "Well let's see what he will do". Guessing she did not vote for intelligence in a new administration. Oh, and she invited me to Thanksgiving dinner feels awkward now :/

      that describes my current approach.
      I'm delighted that sKamala lost, but the GOP has not been pro-freedom in the past 60 years either.

        Had to +1 you here, FFA. Trump and the GOP have now been given a huge chance to get it right, now let's see if they do what is expected. I suppose if they fail us it still could have been worse. First, Trump needs to break away the GOP wing of the uniparty and get it flying in the correct direction on it's own.

        I try to remain optimistic that this is the beginning of what Q labels "The Great Awakening". The whole nation (world) has been SHOWN evil in the face. "They" will not go away quietly so there will be a lot of proverbial storms to weather coming up.

    All I want from american government is to keep me safe from foreign invaders, keep the dollar a strong store of wealth, protect my rights inside the usa with a decent court system, and stay out of commercial enterprises with stupid regulations. I dont care who the president is , as long as they do what needs to be done to preserve my liberty. Today , the best choice is Trump (although he isnt 100% perfect and intellectually consistent) Kamala was a disaster waiting to happen, so I would rather not have her at all.

      Why does everybody call then "Communists"? I would liken them to libertine revelers around the "Golden (calf) Aborted Fetus." They have no manifesto, (unless it is LGBTQ+ and transgenderism. Rather they are disorganized - it's a case of "every man/women for themselves, grab as much loot and power for me and my family and friends as I can." Nihilists and materialists, they are.

      Heard on Fox News that the GOP now controls both the Senate and the House.
      Also heard that a majority of Americans are fed up with Democrat Party policies and threats of packing the Supreme Court, ending the filibuster and taking our guns.

        I just had a great epiphany, dino, and wanted to share, to wit:

        The Democrats, being the most intelligent of the two parties, in their own minds, (the Intelligentsia, if you will), must have planned this from the beginning, which they consider to be the end of the stooge Obamma's reign. Well, they rigged the 2020 election, so they must have been thinking ahead to this win for righteousness.

      Trump can fix immigration, the ukraine war, and probably the middle east situation. I dont expect much relative to china, given that all the alternatives like not buying from china, fighting them in taiwan, etc. arent good.

    I'm finding it very hard to be encouraged by this, because of long-term patterns.

    We get a communist/globalist in, who takes us two steps closer to the cliff.
    Then we get a patriot, who takes us one step back from the cliff.
    Then we get another communist/globalist in, who takes us two steps closer to the cliff, followed by another patriot, who again takes us only one step back.

    In the end, we're still creeping closer to the abyss.

      I wish he WAS John Galt. But the fact is that John Galt is a construct of the perfectly consistent intellectually perfect person. Even Ayn Rand herself wasnt 100% perfect. But in todays political world, Trump is pretty close to the only shot we have right now.

      Kids love those kinds of fantasies.
      When I was a supply clerk on a Marine air base called Cherry Point (1970~1971), a coworker corporal named Thacker asked me to accompany him to laugh at silly Japanese monster movies.
      His laughter made me laugh. When Godzilla did that victory dance, Thacker screamed with laugher so loud and hard that he almost slid out of his theater seat. I'll always remember that.

        I think you're right, as usual, dino. My oldest daughter at about the age of 7 or 8 would make me wake her up to watch the late night Godzilla movies. She was the one too who loved King Kong. The Beauty and the Beast syndrome!
