The Left is doing what they’re accusing non-leftists of doing.

"In brief, hypocrisy reflects on one's own behavior while projection concerns oneself and one's behavior towards others.
It would be hypocritical for person (A) who frequently rolls past stop signs to say that person (B) should always observe stop signs. It would be projection for person (A) to silently assume person (B) rolls past stop signs. It would be both hypocritical and projection for person (A) to falsely accuse person (B) of rolling past stop signs.
In today’s heated socio-political climate I contend that we’re seeing both hypocrisy and projection being utilized on a daily basis. How many times have we heard a Leftist claim that Donald Trump is "a threat to our democracy"?
The better question to ask is, “Who on the Left has not made that claim?”"

Arrest, Trial, Execution of All traitors starting with the Clintons, the Obamas, the Bushes, and proceeding to every bureaucrat who carried out illegal, unconstitutional orders in violation of their duty as public servants.
No more compromises of our inherent constitutionally guaranteed liberty.
Get the traitors out of the gene pool and set an example of what traitors can expect in the future.

then he will look like a damned fool - similar to the rest of the Democrats
who aren't outright traitors.
Both Washingtons are sewers.
I'm sure that George is utterly disgusted and wants to take back his name.
Alinsky's rules are:
1) Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.
2) Never go outside the expertise of your people.
3) Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.
4) Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
5) Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
6) A good tactic is one your people enjoy.
7) A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
8) Keep the pressure on. Never let up.
9) The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
10) The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will
maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
11) If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its
counterside [positive].
12) The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
13) Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
We all need to know these and recognize when they're being used.
Narcissists, Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a complex psychological condition that can cause significant social and occupational impairment. Symptoms include:
Grandiose sense of self-importance
People with NPD have an exaggerated sense of their own importance, and may feel special or better than others. They may also exaggerate their achievements and talents.
Need for admiration
People with NPD have an excessive need for admiration and may be preoccupied with knowing what others think of them. They may also fish for compliments.
Lack of empathy
People with NPD may have an inability or unwillingness to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others. They may also say things that might hurt others.
Entitlement
People with NPD may feel entitled to special treatment and may expect favorable treatment to an unreasonable degree. They may also become angry when people don't cater to them.
Exploitative behavior
People with NPD may take advantage of others to achieve their own ends. They may use people for personal gain or manipulate and control them.
Arrogance
People with NPD may behave in an arrogant way, brag a lot, and come across as conceited. They may also have trouble handling criticism and may become impatient or angry when they don't receive special recognition.
Envy
People with NPD may be envious of others, especially when others are successful. They may also believe that others are envious of them.
Retired corrections officer me encountered so many of those in prison and some of those into politics on TV.
Here are some signs that someone might be projecting:
Blaming others: They may blame others for things that have gone wrong, rather than taking responsibility.
Being quick to point out flaws: They may be quick to point out other people's flaws and shortcomings.
Making accusations: They may make accusations about others.
Being defensive: They may be defensive.
Not all people, and not all groups of people, of course. But I think it is important to be able to make that distinction, between those who do it unconsciously, like children, and those who do it consciously for other purposes.
But I've recently discovered, as you state, that for many people projection can also be a conscious attempt to blame another for one's own faults, as they are perceived by himself. In this case, the individual is attempting for another third party to see the fault, sin, or crime in another, not himself. So that would be a false accusation or slander or libel.
I'm saying if I call a thief, a thief, but he projects it knowingly back on me, calling me a thief when I am not a thief, then that is slander or libel. It was the truth when I called him a thief, it is a false accusation when he calls me a thief.
The Leftist's projections, a la Saul Alinsky are not of that same dangerous type, because they KNOW what they are doing, but that these other, less mature people have been led to believe that what is being projected is true, is dangerous as well. Extremely dangerous, if we aren't aware of it.
PROJECTION
And I think this is why it is so hard to defeat evil. Evil has no morals.
This crowd is very well read. :-)
Most likely because she grew up when the Bolsheviks were taking over Russia. She saw it happen.
I've thought about it for many years, and I understand now that it is because evil has no morals.
There were two 'rules' Alinsky promoted: the end justifies the means---evil; and use their morals against them---again, evil. If evils can be relative, then those are the worst. But can you say that any one evil is worse than another?
Not HER table, I'll wager.
Pay no attention to the blade above your head or the man wearing the hood.
