Regarding Pumpkin spice latte" in Meme #4, do any of youse dudes and dudettes know it was also a sword (not really a cavalry saber) used by cuirasiers (half-armored cavalry) up until World War One before all types of cavalry charges were retired by machine guns?
Me dino has for too long been working on a novel in which the protagonist's oldest brother is a cuirassier involved in a (very old vrs. the very new) disastrous charge during 1914.
I had already first draft written that charge before stumbling upon the actual name of a cuirassier's sword~~

You can imagine what writing problems this can lead to. For example, "He smote him with his latte." Yes, a full explanation is screamed for.
In the next click on, scroll down to the 19th and 20th Centuries and check out that photo made during 1914 in Paris. All those poor outdated cuirassiers think they will go to war and amount to something.

Boone's Farms - been there done that. Another was Ripple. Way too much fun. How I ever managed to pass my state board exams is a mystery to me now. Maybe I trashed the useless brain cells and allowed the functional ones to dominate. .
