Doug Casey: “US should not consider that it ‘has a dog’ in Palestine-Israel fight.” Why should US government expropriate via taxation right of people to donate to their favored causes?

Atrocities not suffered by ones own nation aren’t cause for interventionist crusades, nor for attempts to pacify, restrain vengeance by the aggrieved side.
Government should let private donation enable a response to perceived international travesty—and refuse to intervene militarily, or most often even diplomatically in such conflict. Condemnation may be appropriate, and should suffice.

Do foreigners have a right to protection under US law while on US soil? Only, in my opinion, if US citizens, acting through their government, choose to afford them that right.
I don't feel obligated to come to the rescue of US citizens who venture into unsafe areas of the world--and there's nowhere in the world outside the US that is now 100 percent safe for US citizens.
US military/diplomats stationed on foreign soil should be there only by treaty/consent/request of the foreign government. Anything else is a US invasion. I do believe that such military/diplomats are active agents of the US government and therefore entitled to the full protection of our government--including retaliation for their harm. But I don't see private citizens venturing onto foreign soil as agents of the US government.
Americans were taken hostage
due to the treason and weakness of the biden cabal of traitors (the follow-on to the 0bama cabal of traitors)
this is our fight also, as shown by the bast_ards supporting the terrorist savages in this nation
The Hamas fighters that flew in paragliders were radicalized by actions taken against them in the past.
There are several young Palestinians being radicalized RIGHT NOW. In twenty years a new crop will avenge the actions of today. So again I ask…..DO WE as humanity have a stomach for genocide? Because either we kill ALL the perceived bastards or we stop the cycle of killing and be better. I’m not sugar coating it anymore because pussyfooting around the topic won’t solve it.
I can turn and walk away or I can fire the gun
Staring at the sea staring at the sun
Whichever I choose it amounts to the same
Absolutely nothing
Do we return to medieval practices of killing the entire families of a single
(possibly deranged) person because of his actions, ostensibly to prevent
possible revenge by his relatives some day in the future?
Do we execute his relatives as guilty of crimes not yet committed?
Are we civilized people or are we barbarians?
Is it the responsibility of a civilized people to police those who
do not directly threaten our people or their interests?
It would be nice to believe the rest of the world is as logical as most of us are here in the gulch. Unfortunately that's not the way things are. There are religious radicals that no logic can reach.
This is why I view this as "Hamas Declared War on Israel", and Israel has the right to do whatever they want until they KILL 100% of the enemy, or they get an UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER. It should be brutal. That's the deterrent.
Now. Is there a chance that Israel found Oil/Gas off the coast of Gaza, and that this is a way to steal those resources for Israel. (In todays world, if you can't imagine that... You're asleep).
But unless they kill every enemy in the Gaza Strip, this will continue like this forever.
That said. We should offer ZERO support. We will not stand against. We will help neither side.
If some future "other" country wants to get involved. Israel will have to deal with that.
But I am TIRED of being NUDGED/PUSHED to believe their lies. We may never know the truth.
But it seems ONE SIDE always starts the fight, then wants to be shown mercy?
Our forefathers warned us time and again about staying out of Foreign Entanglements.
Have we simply gotten more stupid with each passing generation?
Much of the hatred of the west in general, and of this country in particular, is of our own making. Now we can't unscrew the pooch, but we can take our bat and ball and go home. But I don't see that happening any time soon. We must fulfill our destiny and die in a giant funeral pyre.
Turns out Jim Morrison really did have it right all those years ago.
