Cracker Barrel Goes Woke~~Going Broke Begins Within Hours
Used to take my kids to Cracker Barrel due to good food that was not expensive competition-wise..
Now I'll be telling my grown kids about this new rainbow rocking chair wrinkle when it comes to them bringing their kids there.
A son-in-law is having a birthday today and I'll be sure to bring that up. Hey, Gone Crackers, that's how boycotts start and spread.
Me dino hasn't stepped into a Cracker Barrel for over a decade anyway. Now I never will.

Sandra Cochran, CEO, drove Books a Million into the ground but after appointment in 2010
had avoided doing the same at Cracker Barrel.
Probably didn't help that the VP of Marketing came from a career in US Gov in the International
Trade Administration and the Office of The Secretary of Commerce with degrees in International
Relations and Economics from George Washington University. No clue about competition, apparently,
although she ran marketing at PizzaHut (another over-the-hill loser.)
Yet another moronic CEO and clueless government worker destroy yet another profitable (conservative
supported) business.
"Hi, I'm another moronic CEO and a former clueless government worker and I am here to help run your restaurant chain franchise."
Also thought up a more generalized version of someone scary~~"Hi, I was once a U.S. government appointee to a big shot position, but now I've moved on to help you run your business."
they changed the sources of food products
poor service
poor products
and now this
no thanks
You make me very glad that I didn't even think to say, "It's been a long timce since I ate at Cracker Barrel."
Lately I've been eyeing a Japanese restaurant at a shopping center I frequent. Ate there only once. Good food in there.
Food sitting in open containers at barely warm temps (with lots of virus sources passing by) doesn't happen in my kitchen.
I do love good made-to-order Chinese and Thai food, but there aren't any near here.
