When a system is set up that can be plundered, it will be. There is never a shortage of 'criminals' who will use the 'law' to plunder others. The only way to prevent it is to not have such a system.

What else can be expected. We are largely prevented from actually teaching so at some point the teachers also won't even have the expected knowledge that we are supposed to be providing.

I have zero sympathy for any New Yorkers who voted for DeBlasio or Biden. They're getting exactly what they voted for.

Reminded me of a teacher with similar skills.
In 7th Grade, she was giving us a spelling test.

The word she said was:
Mew-sim

She said it a few times. I had won almost ALL of the grade school spelling bees. I memorized most of the 20 word lists in a single pass. THAT WORD was NOT in the spelling book up to date, I would bet my life on it.

I said what? She repeated the word 2 more times. The same way.
I asked (to an IRRITATED teacher) to use it in a sentence...

"Da Studentz went to da mew-sim to see da ardifaks".

I YELPED, "Ohhhh, Museum" (Without spelling it).
Everyone started writing the answer, and she chastised me for giving away the answer.

This guy's speech pattern brought back that memory. This lady was old as my teacher. I am sure she retired nicely... But an English teacher she was not!

My son's 5th grade teacher informed me that one of the seven pieces of knowledge that Washington State required its students to learn was "Ambiguity". I asked her why ambiguity was a proper thing to learn, and her explanation was, "Ambiguity means keeping an open mind." This was in 1980. It's much worse now.
