Bearded Male Powerlifter Self-Identifies As Woman In Protest, Destroys Women's Record....in front of previous record holder who is ALSO a biological male. XD
Sometimes, you just need to fight lunacy with more lunacy.
That's what a male powerlifting coach by the name of Avi Silverberg must have thought when he decided to protest new "trans policies" in the sport by "self-identifying" as a woman and then destroying a women's record during a recent event.
Prior to Silverberg taking action, "the women’s bench press title holder in the 84+ kilogram category [was] Anne Andres, who is a biological male", Fox News reported this week.
There used to be a name for this...the men's division.
Andres had to sit and watch at the Heroes Classic Powerlifting Meet while a fully bearded Silverberg, obviously a biological male, destroyed his bench press record.
Since the meet was held under the rules of the Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU), their policy on gender self-identification, which they introduced earlier this year, allowed Silverberg to compete in whatever gender division he wanted.
The CPU's trans inclusion policy states: "Based on this background and available evidence, the Expert Working Group felt that trans athletes should be able to participate in the gender with which they identify, regardless of whether or not they have undergone hormone therapy."
And then, Fox News writes, "Silverberg took advantage of the policy and sent a very clear message to the sports world".
Just in time to catch the end of women's appreciation month!

Teachers, especially in the early grades and preschool. Also, parents who grew up believing the absurdities until they were firmly ingrained, and are now passing them along.
The children are especially vulnerable which is why a) the left is so focused on "education", and b) why it needs to be a priority to protect the children from them. It is encouraging to see some school boards being turned around. I just hope it's not too little too late.

This post's article reminds me of a day me dino was assigned to the back gate tower at a state prison during the Nineties.
Along came a van from another Alabama county with a couple of deputy sheriffs who wanted to leave inmates to serves sentences and to pick up others who needed to go to court.
While the wheels for all that were in motion there was an inmate just passing through who needed a restroom break.
Watched a deputy and my sally port officer escort a hairy white man with a long brown beard who wore a short pink dress.
My sally port officer looked up at me trying really, really hard to suppress laughter. After they went inside beneath my tower~~me dino laughed my freakin' head off!
Never dreamed some sizable stupid so-called "Woke" movement would come along to disapprove of my reaction a decade or two later.
