HUNTER BIDEN TEAM REQUESTS FEDERAL PROBE OF TRUMP ALLIES
Legal counsel for Hunter Biden requested federal probes into Trump allies who accessed and shared the contents of Biden’s laptop. In letters to the Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Delaware state attorney’s office, the Hunter Biden legal team said the access and dissemination of Biden’s private data were done without consent, and they alleged these actions may have violated federal law.

The problem was that it ceased being Hunter's laptop when he failed to come pick it up from the repair shop! Case law on this is very specific and extensive: though the laptop contained information about Hunter, it became the property of the shop owner in lieu of payment. That the information on their pertained to the prior owner is not the new owner's fault. And the fact that the new owner notified the FBI regarding the illegal contents (child porn, etc.) further indemnifies them.
This one isn't even a "Hail Mary." It's a complete nothingburger distraction.
