Have a great day!!
Superb collection as usual. đź‘Ť
However, I do remember a very fast Rocket 88 in 1957...

I always wanted a Cobra. Have a picture and a model in my man cave. Visited Factory Five, and was ready to build mine from my 1990 Mustang. However, at the recommendation of a buddy, I went for a Lotus Seven for my kit car. Modern ones are faster in a straight line, and WAY, WAY faster on a track or corner. Mine weighs 1,100 lbs, has 200 hp, and a CG less than 12" off the ground.
Cobras are far more comfortable to drive though.
Another article on them.

15psi blown 406 probably makes 650 hp. Relative to the car's weight, that is probably equal to the Cobra. Did you run an automatic? So much better for drag racing.
Naw, 4 sp....laughing, a really really loose 4 sp. Mastered those shifts without the clutch...the only other Car I could do that with was a 72 240Z.
Ever race a naked skeleton?...that's what we were doing back then. Have to admit though, I really respected the car fully dressed...pretty she was in black and chrome. The 61 Starliners were among the prettiest of the big Fords.
Although at this point, GM LS is the way to go.
My Race Z could top 160 and could corner like no other car I ever had...loved the lean-in front suspension and the rear was always well behaved.
I think I had that no-stick pan! Sheesh!
Jellyfish must be all Democrats and we know why.
Ahem!
Only a woman has a uterus. A man has not.
The only way a man can make a baby is to impregnate an egg inside a woman's uterus.
Re bottom row meme #2~~That frying pan reminds me of a bought last year self-proclaimed non-stick pan that seriously stuck to food the first time I used it.
I ended up trashing it and replaced it with a pan that does not come advertised as being a non-stick. Guess what? I've used it several times and it hardly sticks at all.
Bag of salad and bag of cookies -- yup, I have experienced this phenomena.
Thank you Carl. Have a swell weekend.
