Nice little perks living here. I was walking Fred and a guy on the best looking Harley I ever saw yelled, 'Hey babe! The bitch seat is empty!' Whoo whoo.

And I knew you were kidding. We have some stupid laws in Texas. The railroad isn't required to mark (with lights) a crossing over a Farm Road. You cannot see a black train at midnight when you are going 55 miles an hour! My son and daughter in law found that out. I'm happy to say that crossing in particular will never kill youngsters again. You can get the state to change a law if you scream loud enough. N

Holy smokes, 25n56il4, I've ridden the train through Texas a number of times and never realized such a thing as no lights on an intersection. It's not only dangerous for a car, but a train full of people as well!

Here's a story that'll make you go, "WHaaaaaaat?!". A friend used to be a track inspector for the RR in Texas and when I told him I've ridden the rails through Texas he replied, "Maybe you wouldn't if you knew what you were ridin' on." Gulp...

In September I'll be taking the train to Austin... oh well.

Oh but I did! My X2 taught the Motorcycle Supplement to Defensive Driving! Boy was he good! But he wasn't so attached to that bike he wouldn't lay it down. He almost drowned it trying to get home when a hurricane blew in. Bike went one way and he went the other way.
