Power is a jealous beast, and these Best Friends Forever may one day decide they don’t like sharing the throne. Or perhaps they won’t, but their successors will. Regardless, there is the conceptual flaw at the heart of their Eurasian alliance: that progress flows down from the government and not up from the people. Throughout history, governments have built all sorts of things, and most of them have been about as useful as Egypt’s pyramids.

I look at what our USA used to be and hasn’t been since The Kennedy Coup. We have caused the death of millions worldwide in the last 50 plus years.
In those last 50 years it would be tough to say, of the 3 super powers who has caused humans the most misery.
Now , our constitutional republic (overthrown and under attack) is one of the only moral stances we have relative to foriegn power. The crony capitalism on Wall Street / Washington is what drives foriegn policy. Not good Will amongst men.
