Life experience: a bit of humor
For the last two weeks I've been hearing a dripping sound in my home. I scoured the whole house, anywhere there could be water. I check every faucet, toilet, sink, and even listened to the walls where I knew the shower pipes ran. Two weeks.
Yesterday, at work I was walking down a quiet hallway and I hear the same dripping. It was a long hallway so I was able to conclude that it was happening when I set my left foot when walking. So I returned to office and took off my shoes to walk around a bit. Oddly enough, the dripping sound still happened.
Now I don't have any metal joints or any prosthetic and I don't wear much metal at all. It dawned on me that I purchased a leather belt roughly two weeks ago which by accident it turned out to be reversible. The reversible buckle was making the noise.
Two weeks spent looking for a leak in my home and I was walking around making it with my belt the entire time. It certainly explained why I was the only one who could hear it.
Life is funny some times.

It's funny but then it kinda not at the same time.
You goof ball...haha
Looked that way and saw no cat. I walked on a few steps and heard a meow behind me. I turned around and saw no cat. I could hear the meows distinctly that meant the critter was very close.
Perplexed, I walked back the way I came, saying, "Hey, kitty, where are you?"
"Meow' said a cat with a voice that sounded like it came from my right.
More meows mystified me. Where the heck was that cat?
Found myself staring at the nearest tree trunk. Now I thought to look straight up.
That cat was on a tree limb about five feet above my head.
