National Guard activated ahead of Kyle Rittenhouse verdict | One America News Network
What utter bullshit grandstanding. If this country is so *cked up that ruling that a person has a natural right to defend himself creates a mob riot situation than stick a fork in it, this country is done.
Learned last night that the bit about Kyle shooting a child-raping thug in the arm only because that waste of breathing space testified that he pointed a pistol at Kyle FIRST has been oh so conveniently omitted from slanted "reports."
Hope Rittenhouse gets rich suing the pants off those defaming liars like Sandman did.
Bet our presidential puppet would not have said squat if not for obeying the instructions of his Marxist puppeteers.
Edit add: I wonder if Sleepy can be whacked after he's out of the WH. Then again, his defense could be "I don't recall" and it would be the truth.
Joe can't remember what "Breakfast" is!
By the way, me old dino read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein a couple of years ago for being on my literary Bucket List, so to speak. Her actual monster proved to be quite intelligent yet vengefully spiteful for being created. Reading her flowery Victorian writing took some effort but I persevered.
The reason the National Guard was called up was part CYA and part common sense. The trial was started by a riot. Anyone who doesn't think these same idiot rioters won't use the trial as an excuse to riot again are fooling only themselves. I just hope that the National Guard isn't like that in Oregon where they just stand around and do nothing as shops are looted and destroyed and buildings are defaced and burned...
We'll see if this triggers new Antifa riots, sorry, peaceful protests (with bricks and Molotovs).
or on life support at best
It should NOT BE ILLEGAL to shoot rioters setting property on fire. IMHO
No Crime on the planet.
All Crimes punished by execution.
ZERO Prisons, and ZERO repeat Offenders!
Re the Star Trek episode, there are so many laws and regulations in America nowadays almost everybody could face the executioner.
Have one punishment.
The rest are CIVIL (person to person).
Then nobody is interested in making more things illegal.
Unfortunately, in todays corruption, getting 'strict' is usually a way to criminalize some minor behavior, because we've lost the plot on Family, Community, and Respect!
Ah, yes; let's throw out cruel and unusual punishment along with the rest of the constitution......
Re the Constitution: You do realize this conversation took a rather tongue-in-cheek turn?
So many are obsessed with the outright lies told by the media because it feeds the narrative of violent white supremacists that's been fed to them endlessly. Rarely do I find anyone who's actually watched a minute of the trial.
What shuts everyone up who rants about Rittenhouse's motives for being there is to ask them if a prostitute can be raped, or if a person illegally carrying drugs has the right to defend themselves against an attack by someone trying to steal their drugs. Not that I think I've convinced anyone, but they know that to respond requires them to actually think instead of just react.
Law enforcement is supposed to keep protests from getting out of hand, not take sides in the protest. I have been to protests in three US cities where I've lived, and I've always been impressed with local police's abilities to keep protestors and counter protestors apart.
It's obvious that this case attracts people who think, contrary to the facts, that Rittenhouse is white supremist or a hero. And any demonstration can bring out people looking to fight or loot. So it makes sense to have a lot of law enforcement ready.
Speaks volumes about too much of black society in america (the nation doesn't get a capital 'a in my eyes anymore).
My heart goes out to great men and women like Thomas Sowell and Winsome Sears for being overshadowed by the left wing imbeciles.
