"The University of Virginia Center for Politics has partnered with Project Home Fire, a new initiative dedicated to finding common ground in American politics, on an innovative new data analytics and polling project to explore the social, political, and psychological divides between those who voted for Donald Trump and those who voted for Joe Biden in 2020.
Some of the key takeaways from today’s release are:
— Majorities of Trump and Biden voters express support for several elements of the bipartisan infrastructure and reconciliation bills being debated in Congress, but there are marked differences in their levels of support. (see Table 1 below)
— Majorities — often large majorities — of both Biden and Trump voters express some form of distrust for voters, elected officials, and media sources they associate with the other side. A strong majority of Trump voters see no real difference between Democrats and socialists, and a majority of Biden voters at least somewhat agree that there is no real difference between Republicans and fascists. (see Table 2 below)
— Significant numbers of both Trump and Biden voters show a willingness to consider violating democratic tendencies and norms if needed to serve their priorities. Roughly 2 in 10 Trump and Biden voters strongly agree it would be better if a “President could take needed actions without being constrained by Congress or courts,” and roughly 4 in 10 (41%) of Biden and half (52%) of Trump voters at least somewhat agree that it’s time to split the country, favoring blue/red states seceding from the union. (see Table 3 below)"

The stakes would be that the test taker would have to score 75% or more to be welcome in the Conservative States of America, anything less means they have been brainwashed.
I do not care what criteria the Progressive-Socialists adopt to welcome people into their meat grinder. But we will no longer submit to Progressive-Socialist policies or rule.
Nor will we give up out lands or treasure. We will simply vow to reject their impositional style of government and will defend out own wherever they are located.
Essentially a massive tax revolt.
Unfortunately it wouldn't exclude clever liars (e.g., politicians, lawyers, corrupt judges, etc.)
We're not monsters. If a person has a handicapped dependent, we would not exclude the dependent not the caretaker on that basis. But we might IF their answer to the quiz indicated that they are OWED support for their dependent solely by virtue of the handicap!
One of the mistakes made by the 20th Century Motors management was to base compensation on NEED. I would've thought that such lessons wouldn't be necessary here.
As for the clever liars... You're assuming the quiz ends when he person walks out the door. If someone does manage to gain access based on deceit, then how long do you think it will take for them to revert to their old behaviours?
Yes those that cheat would at a glance appear to be the and cancerous cell in the hnormal tissues But one cell need not become the center of a of a cancerous tumor. In a population that has successfully purged itself of the necrotic tissues of Progressive-Socialism, that cell will be attacked by the immune system, it will not metastasize, it will not develop into a full blown tumor.
- The polling numbers on specific issues are surprisingly close, given the thesis people are divided. I actually think people are lonely or having other psychological struggles with now fast the world has changed and how easy it is to send information.
- The idea that the “government should work for people” surfaces as a potential compromise corridor for starting a conversation and finding common ground. I think that means they all agree on borrowing money.
I think this need to “split the country” is a side-effect of the central government being too powerful and intrusive.
