Aaannnd... It's Gone—'No Further Discussion': Talks Halt between Whistleblower Lawyers and Schiff Staff Amid Expectation He Won’t Testify

"The whistleblower whose complaint launched impeachment proceedings against President Trump is unlikely to testify to Congress, as talks have ceased between his legal team and committee leaders."
This Theater of the Absurd is what we get, when government officials are not bound by objective rules and procedures.

I suspect this “whistleblower” will be testifying, in a real court of justice.
This thing is looking less and less like a grand jury, and more and more like a witch hunt.
As cruel as this might be, I would not shed a tear if Adam "Ellsworth Toohey" Schiff were found floating face-down in his hot tub... or buried in a train tunnel under a very tall mountain.
The first question I have is: how can a guy be a director at the tender age of 33, of the Ukraine? Looking at his photo he looks like a Muslim to me with extensive facial hair covering his visible parts of his head. He also strikes me as someone who would fit in with the Google crowd better than the CIA.
So he doesn't want to testify? Maybe he has plans to emigrate to Russia, as soon as possible.
The "secret" testimonies were halted due to intensive criticism targeting Schitty's methods. So Pelosi announced that testimonies will be conducted in public, unless secret testimony becomes necessary for being more "productive" than public ones.
More productive? What does she mean by that? Could it be that secret testimonies are documented any way the left wants them, shutting down questions which may be embarrassing.
That is plain admitting how bogus these "testimonies" are.
oh, dear.
Yes. That looks like a joke on the first pass, but it looks scarily possible when one rereads it.
Pelosi is really old. There is no problem with people staying active through advanced age, but some show age in a very demeaning way.
Pelosi is one of them. Several years ago when she was put on the spot for a controversy (can't remember the reason, there were many of them), she was a pain to watch on the lectern, shuffling her papers back and forth, desperately searching for the relevant page. She was a sorry sight, so much so that even her critics pleaded for mercy "to put an old woman in a hard position".
