“SHHHHHHHH!!! The National Park Service has quietly removed all the signs put up by the Obama administration that told visitors that the glaciers would “all be gone” by the year 2020 due to global warming… because… it’s 2019, and the glaciers are all still there and have been growing.”

Maybe they're going to just change the dastardly date of doom to 2040 to match the latest NYT prediction.

Or maybe 2032 to match the bar tender's prediction.

Did Obama issue an Executive Order forbidding it? Glaciers have been receding on average over time in temperate zones since the end of the Ice Age. Large bodies of ice melt gradually where in contact with heat, like air above freezing. Snow and ice on your sidewalk melt, too. It's not something to become hysterical about.

Another instance of the Obama statist administration wasting taxpayers' money on false propaganda with the goal of looting trillions from the people and destroying the world economy for everyone who is not in the looting elite. Yet the Hitlery/Oba/Soros followers never see the truth.

Glaciers grow, glaciers shrink, glaciers move. They’ve been doing it for millions of years, before man first walked on the earth. This is the nature of glaciers.

Somehow after Obama was elected everything changed.

Another new “science” became political, and is “settled.”

Maybe it’s time to privatize the parks

Far more serious than signs about glaciers is the National Park Service taking over private property https://www.galtsgulchonline.com/post...

NPS and USFWS like to buy land to expand the empire. They buy as much as they have the money for and whether or not the owners like it. Some of the LWCF money Congress appropriates goes for state acquisitions. With an entitlement bypassing Congressional appropriations every year they would be spending more every year, forever, increasing the land in the country owned by government forever. $1 billion a year is only the beginning. In the past they have tried to get an entitlement for several billion a year, so $1 billion would be incrementally increased over time. Most people know nothing about this.

There was never any Constitutional authority for the government to run "parks" from the beginning, but the problem has been gettting progressively worse.

The Federal parks started in 1872 at Yellowstone and continued from there, with different agencies controlling them, such as the War Dept for military parks. The progressives authorized National Monuments on government land by presidential decree in 1913, and created the National Park Service in 1916 to consolidate control over parks.

At first they were on government land in the west, which was originally supposed to have been settled and claimed for private ownership. Congress started authorizing new parks in the east on private property in the 1920s.

In the early days state eminent domain authority was used to take property until a 1940s Supreme Court decision said that NPS could use eminent domain under the 1890s Condemnation Act that had been intended for isolated government buildings.

In 1916 Acadia was decreed to be a National Monument on land 'donated' to the government by a land trust because the trust feared losing its state charter when the locals revolted against the state condemnation power 'delegated' to the trust and other strong arm tactics to get the land.

It all escalated from there, with two big early examples at the Smoky Mountains and Skyline Drive at the Blue Ridge Mountains in the southeast. Authorized by Congress in the 1920s, by the 1930s the mass condemnations for the parks began, dispossessing thousands of people of their homes, farms and businesses. They especially went after logging companies to stop the logging. Much of it was funded by the Rockefellers in a three way cabal of elitist insiders combining private money with state and Federal power.

After the 1940s court decision allowing Federal condemnation for parks, NPS escalated its private property seizures in the 1950s and 60s, beginning at the Minuteman National Historic Park in the name of commemorating the American Revolution at Lexington and Concord, and Cape Cod National Seashore.

Under the Carter administration in the 1970s they went berserk, seizing property from tens of thousands of people for new and expanded parks and refuges using the funding authorization from the 1965 Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), one of the massive government programs of president Johnson's Great Society.

The lobbyists had wanted LWCF funding to be an entitlement outside the control of Congressional appropriations from the beginning, and began pushing for converting it to a billion dollar a year "trust fund" in the 1980s after Reagan curtailed most of the acquisitions by throttling their funding.

It has been a constant battle ever since, with most of the public knowing nothing about it. A lot of people have been hurt, but they are concentrated in local areas spread out across the country.

One reason for curtailing new parks has been that NPS is billions of dollars in arrears for maintenance and restoration. They always want more but can't take care of what they already have. The recent response to that is another off budget entitlement for maintenance, being pushed by Republicans, in addition to acquisition funding.

All this history and escalating problems matter a lot more than a few misleading signs NPS manipulates at glaciers.

The Obama year 2020 glacier melt down panic deception was interesting, but I’m surprised so many bought it.

“Unless the conservatives get elected into power, an early Armageddon wil destroy everything by 2025!!!”

    See how silly that sounds.
