US District Judge orders CA not to enforce magazine limits, and directs the AG (Becerra) to provide proof that such a notice has been communicated.
Good news for 2nd Amendment Freedom!

Could be a precedent affecting other state foolishness.

      That might be even better.

Would be interesting if this went on, and then Trump intervened.

Would be a nice rhetoric: "When it suits the Democrats, the rule of law must be followed, but when it doesn't suit them, they can do as they please." Then throw the AG in Federal prison for contempt.

I really wish he were better at playing this game. He could bait them into acts that could never pass scrutiny in the next election.

I'll celebrate when Trump replaces, or Congress impeaches, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal judges who are still successfully preventing Heller and MacDonald from applying in California and Hawaii.

Not to mention the bump stock nonsense. The 2nd ought to cover all weapons short of WMDs.

So ridiculous, the judicial branch legislating.

Should have started this in the first half of his term. Too late now. Maybe if we win big in 2020.

Boy, do I hope somebody unveils a bomb on 2016 Hillary/Loretta/Obama conspiracy. Right now, 99.9% of the media is looking for evidence of Trump's baldness in Mueller's report.

      Great to see you, Jan!

So you're saying that judges shouldn't "legislate" even when a statute is clearly unconstitutional? That would make the Constitution even more toothless than it is now. Or did you not mean that?

I think that judges should enforce the law. The Constitution takes precedence over local and state statutes. Judges should clearly understand and enforce this. When they don’t, and decide to interpret the law as the choose (so called “living constitution”), they are legislating from the judicial branch.

Interpreting the second amendment, or a SCOTUS precedent is not “legislating”. It is appropriate judging.
