If he does Run for Governor, this could really change the Democrat plan for a takeover of the Senate. He Barely won the seat in 2016 (only his vote for Kavanaugh save him). This would most likely lead to a lose of a held seat. Making it very hard for the Dems go get control back.
I'm not sure there is a chance of them getting it back anyway but anything that makes it harder is OK by me.
