The AFL-CIO rag newsletter blasted me with a blurb saying, 'The Union raised her. She should be ashamed of herself! Her daddy is turning over in his grave!' Really, my daddy is the one who told me to always vote 'FOR' the Right to Work in Texas. A law enforcement officer once came on the property where I worked to give one of the workers a subpoena for a divorce. I said no. He informed me 'this is a Union shop!' My response was, 'There are no closed shops in Texas!' I called into the facility and asked the man's supervisor if he wanted to be served. He didn't. I got on the intercom and instructed all 200 workers to remove their name tags when they went out the gate and I told the Officer, 'Go find him'. He didn't have any luck in finding my guy.
