Leftists are simplistically and irrationally compassionate. If they see a homeless person suffering they would sacrifice a city if it would make them feel better.

The problem with these tax break/tax increase issues is: having the tax in the first place. This causes people to claim that some people are being overtaxed (which they are) and then when a tax break occurs, "Why does he get the tax break and I don't?" and dividing the taxpayers against each other, while the government goes on collecting, and collecting, and sucking the taxpayers' blood.

I once accompanied the County Health Director on her rounds and we visited subsidized housing recipients. The women can have a man living with them and whoever and we pay for them to live in free housing.

Yeah. I love SF. Grew up right near it. It's such a beautiful place. When I was a little my favorite place anywhere was the Steinhart Aquarium. It was in the main city park...so beautiful. I really want to take my daughter now to show her but, based on the input of some friends who've been there recently I decided not to go. I'm not visiting the city anymore. Last time I was there it was for a cousin's wedding and I took my family. We had to step over piles of human feces on the sidewalks. They've taken a beautiful city and are turning into hell. And we've now elected the mayor to be our governor...

Not surprising that San Franciscan's feel they can steal other peoples' production and there will be no negative economic repercussions. They stopped recognizing economic reality a long time ago and their city has suffered. In time the same economics that killed Detroit will ravage San Francisco as producers move all but a fragment of their operations elsewhere.

This is the best way to INCREASE homelessness, which is what the liberals want actually. More homelessness and government support for them means the homeless are basically made into modern day slaves to the government. Business should move OUT of california like I did many years ago

How about also (of course with more taxpayer money) erecting a Statue Of Liberty looking monument with its back to the bay to face all the USA with Nancy Pelosi's face on it? (Just please get her vacant stare just right).
Instead of a torch, Nutty Nancy shall hold aloft a Wimpy Burger inscribed: "Taxpayers will gladly pay me Tuesday for your free hamburger today."
A plaque at Princess Pelosi's (yeah, put a crown on her head) feet shall state~
"Give me your bums, your scum,
Your huddled masses yearning to take dumps in the streets.
Send these, the homeless, to me:
I lift your awaiting Wimpy Burger beside the statist door,
And please register to vote."

Taxing businesses us taking the consumer. Just that simple.

As we in the Gulch know, businesses don't pay taxes, their customers pay it. Its the cost of doing business. And it taxes are too high you move. Not rocket science.
