A friend of mine shared this with me several days ago. Nick's message is concise and logical. It will only find a home with others that also have a brain that runs on logic.
Indeed ... some of my social media friends have celebrated the recent marches on the White House by the students against guns (essentially). These friends would supposedly be adults -- and they are remarking that these children against guns are going to lead us where the adults have failed. Good night ... these children are merely puppets regurgitating their scripts. I no longer even try to employ a little reasoning on these friends of mine. It is a waste of my time. I don't post political material on my social media -- but perhaps I should ... I expect that many 'friends' would disassociate with a gun-nut such as myself.
yep these "children " have bent over and offered their cheeks to the lubed up arm of the puppet masters in exchange for that so needed social media and Television fame that also drives reality tv . Sad if it were not so dangerous...
The left has take a perversion from the communist play book and trying to recreate useful idiots out of useless idiots. Doesn't seem to be working out to well.
"Why have we never seen a MASS SHOOTING in a school being attended by a Sitting Presidents Children?" It's hard to analyze correlations with very rare events like mass shootings at school. It would be like analyzing which states have the fewest cases of people being injured due to wobbly stairs and railings at schools and then saying we need to adopt their policies. People do this seriously in looking at which airlines have the most crashes. Sometimes whole countries go years without a crash. There's just not a large enough pool of data. It's a freak event.
The video, though, points out most mass shootings are in "gun free" zones. It makes sense people commit crimes where they know law-abiding citizens don't have guns, but I also think this is hard to analyze.
I really think this question you call obvious accidentally buys into a gun control narrative of "let's look at things we can do with government force to stop gun crimes."
I find Nick Freitas as a common sense rational gentleman. He would be a great addition to congress with his sensibilities. Sadly those characteristics are just what the left hates . I don't think his chances look to good. Tim Kaine handily beat former Virginia governor/ Senator Republican George Allen with 2,010,067 To 1,785,542 the republican lost by 225,000 votes With a 62% turn out. Tim Kaine Has been quoted saying "I'm an introvert on the Myers-Briggs. I've got to have time by myself to recharge. My philosophy is sort of that humans are weak, frail, imperfect, and generally kind of bad, but every day I meet somebody who's good, and that inspires me. "
Virginia is a barely vsible shadow of Thomas Jefferson's state of enlightenment. Virginia is overrun with looters from the Dark Center, and the largest employer in Virginia is the federal government. Virginian conservatives, please come to Georgia. Your views and votes are welcomed here.
Well reasoned speech and respectfully put to the opposing side. I don't expect any change of hearts though. Even the pretended 'conservative' current president is trying to invent solutions that will involve further erosions of a citizen being able to arm themselves effectively.
In relation to Nick's message, this one is right on too. I like the way he called her out, rolling her eyes, etc., and especially the "disrespect" for his opinion.
He makes the slippery slope argument without it being a fallacy because he explains why he thinks banning one type of gun will lead to more bans in the future.
Doesn't seem to be working out to well.

YOU WIN!
Now for the bonus question...

No awareness of their own behavior.
