I have a couple of relatives with hypoglycemia, and you really have to have help to drop to low blood sugar - it means that you haven't eaten anything lately (or you haven't eaten any carbs - which IMO says no alcohol but in no way precludes drugs). It's a lot more likely when you are diabetic and you accidentally give yourself too much insulin (have a couple of relatives with Type I).
