This morning, I was telling my wife that I just received my "last" laptop, from my employer, as they have a 3 year replacement cycle and I'm retiring in just under 2.

She asked, since I brought the issue up, if I was reconsidering my retirement, so that my partner wouldn't have to deal with our shop, all alone.

I stated that that attitude was extremely un-Galt like and no, I wasn't going to stick around for my partner's sake.
