Perhaps his name threw you off, but I thought the article was informative and since it is the first time I have met him, per se, I will think of him as a good person.
I think I've seen some articles on Fox by him touting the moral superiority of traditional (i.e., heterosexual, monogamous, one-partner-for-life) marriage, or the moral inferiority of gay/bi sex, or some such rot.
But I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly. I suppose I should go do a deep-dive.
Okay, deep-dive complete. It wasn't all that deep; I have other things to do today.
Looks like he's a mixed bag. Which all of us are, on some level or other.
The gay community hates him. But everything I saw from them was a gross misrepresentation of what he had actually said. Which is pretty common for the gay activists.
I do disagree pretty strongly with much of what he has said, and I think those were the only things I had seen from him in the past.
This is not the first time I've seen an idea that I really like from someone whom I despise. It's humbling. And good for us. Keeps our minds open, you know.
She said some things about the PRACTICE of homosexuality. I don't have a problem with someone saying that this or that disgusts them. After all, smoking disgusts me.
Has she ever made snide remarks about a PERSON who is gay or bi? That's where my line is drawn.
So...just to be clear....the line is drawn right between Practice and Person... like this? Practice / Person. (Ex: The practice of smoking is disgusting...but the person who does the smoking...isn't. Am I getting warm?)
I try not to make fun of a PERSON who "is" something s/he can't help (such as mental retardation, for a good example). I know the scientific jury is still out on that re: homosexuality but the evidence is leaning pretty strongly these days.
People who are intentionally stupid (i.e., Leftys) get no such respect from me!
So in the case of the pictures -- yes, many lesbians aren't "pretty." I actually know one in my home town who is flat-out disfigured. I think they're painfully aware of that -- what woman wouldn't be? -- and it strikes me as horribly insensitive to call attention to it in public.
So... he wants to further broaden the already overly-broad definition of "sex offender" to include people who make a cute video of their kid. There's no nudity, no child porn, it's just a cute, somewhat-creepy video.
If we're going to brand someone for life for being creepy and doing something that is in really bad taste, then it's not a giant step from there to branding EVERYONE for some real or imagined Fatal Flaw -- and at that point we are in a Police State where the population can be controlled at whim via their guilt and fear.
Being a severely lax parent should not result in a life sentence.
I didn't mean to say this twice. reply glitch. there is a chapter in a satire book written by Greg Gutfeld-I can't remember which book, where he discusses creepy looking/acting people end up doing creepy things so you might us well put them on a list now. if you google Gutfeld, "creepy" is an often used adjective for him. karma.
I think this kid's parents are sick. But there's a pretty lengthy list of them already...so nothing new. IT'S DISGUSTING!!! Seeing this from the view of a parent..... it's bad.
Methinks Dr. Ablow is a sick, perverted man who has a little problem with sex... because whether you compulsively seek it, or compulsively avoid it -- and especially if you compulsively seek to force others to avoid it -- it's still an addiction.

Does that help? Thanks for asking.

While he doesn't actually embrace polyamory, he certainly acknowledges its reality.
I wonder what I saw, years ago, that he had written that I didn't like?

Yeah, make EVERYONE a registered sex offender! Wonderful plan, asshole!

Have you ever actually SEEN the video?
