Red Cross Wants Video Games to Punish War Crimes

First thought: Seriously people these are games. Get over it.

Second thought: If you've ever played one of these war shooters online, you know there's always that one guy. The one who shoots his own teammates just for fun, or grabs the tank and rampages through the civilian area while you try to fight off three enemy players alone. I would welcome some harsher punishments for that guy.

How would you punish war crimes in the Grand Theft Auto series?

My God, half the MMORPGs out there would have to shut down...

Exactly. I game partly as a break from the real world. If I wanted a shooting simulator... wait why would I ever want that?
I played Call of Duty for about 5 min before getting bored. The gun recoil affecting accuracy was too realistic. :)

The military can't even reach a consensus on what constitutes a war crime in real life. How do they ever expect to reach a consensus in a game?
