Here is the crux of it: this administration is purposely inflicting pain for political advantage.

This is no different than the WH trying to stop tourists from LOOKING at Mt. Rushmore from a public road.

Reid's Senate will no more impeach our Little Ceaser, than they will do the right thing for our fallen soldiers. Neither fits the Alinsky Plan....

There isn't the slightest chance Obama will be impeached. Especially not on the heels of such a grand screw-up as the shutdown.

The Gingrich shutdown made him look like an idiot, but it was the Clinton impeachment campaign that made Gingrich ex-Speaker.

If we already owed the families the death benefits under their employment agreement, it was an account payable. If we borrow money from a private charity and disburse it to the family, we've just moved the account payable. This is analogous to people transferring credit card balances. They didn't actually pay off any debt or acquire any new debt. They just moved it. It would be bizarre to impeach the president for finding a way to get service members' death benefits paid.
