If a URL is placed in the URL (optional), then the title of the note links to the URL, instead of the note with the post instead of showing the note.
Perhaps this was intentional?

    That's right, nandesu. If you would like to link to some relevant content or web page, copy and paste the address into the "URL" field. You can copy the title into the "Title" field if you like as well or make your own title that will encourage people to click on your post and add comments and have a discussion.

    If you would like to make a post about a topic you want to discuss you can leave the URL field blank. Title it appropriately in the "Title" field and a descriptive note in the "Note field" to encourage people into the discussion as well.

      Okay. Good to know. Would've been good to know before I poured what I did into a note that will never be seen. ~laugh

      Personally, I think it might be better to have the behaviour be that the title always links to the note, and the URL begins a clickable "Reference" on the note display page. Just my $.02.

        People will see it. You put it in "The Gulch: Support" category, which is exactly correct, and they'll see it when look for answers to their questions. And thanks for the suggestion.
