What Pope Francis approves of is a dreary spread the money around for moochers socialist society where some people will feel moved to say something like "Who is John Galt?" if just with graffiti written on a wall.

This is wonderful. Millions of people who would not have heard of libertarianism now know about it. And certainly the pope speaking out against it will give it the dark attraction of the forbidden. I hope that he continues to rail against individualism as found in libertarianism.

That is actually funny, and sad, because you can easily identify their religion as one of libertarianism, in that it requires each individual to be accountable for their own actions. Where it hits a brick wall is the arrogant assumption one cannot have a relation with their higher power WITHOUT them, their rules, their corruption, and their own unique brand of evil (diddle little boys and cover it all up, then lie about it). No amount of Our Fathers and Hail Marys will ever release them from their own evil. Arrogant, pompus, corrupt a@@.

I think he also said something like he's ashame of Christianity - or something along those lines.

If the tenets of the Pope were carried out, the human race would be no different than an ant colony, with no individual initiative allowed. Most religions espouse his attitude which turns all humanity into a single organism whose brain demands unquestioned loyalty no matter how self destructive.

Among his own rules he is ignoring -- said rules called "The Ten Commandments" -- are "Thou shalt not steal" and, the one he ignores most, "Thou shalt not covet."

If the pope disapproves of us and what we do and what we think, we're obviously getting it right!

Religion and governments were twin evils born at the same time in history. Each using its own excuse to herd the people and tell them what to do and when and while you are at it impart some of your wealth to them to provide for the good works and rescue of you (with your funds) while they continually threaten or use violence to achieve their ends.

Spoken like a true communist, totalitarian, dictator! Common good. snorts. Shove it up your you know what!

The Pope says: “only the individual gives value to things and to interpersonal relations and therefore only the individual decides what is good and what is evil.” This sounds like common sense. Our Constitution supports this notion. One reason why the socialists in our country don’t respect our constitution; it goes against their “common good” because as individuals, they can’t take away what we have earned.

In this case, when you say "our philosophy" are you referring to libertarianism or objectivism?
