I am a retired engineer and businessman. I read Atlas Shrugged in the early 60's and could not believe that there was someone that had a philosophy that closely resembled my own thoughts. The best part was that Ayn Rand had really thought deeply about what life on earth should be like and opened up many doors that I had encountered but they were locked. I have read her novels, most of her essays and two biographical books about her. I was at the door of the theater when Part I opened and will be there again for Part II and hopefully Part III.
