...and for the Producers of the world. For far too long, patent trolls have been, as John Galt said in the first movie, "feeding off of the energies of others."

Now if only we can get the rest of the developed world to follow suit, the entrepreneurs of the world can return to innovating and making everyone's life better instead of spending vast swaths of resources defending against one of the worst classes of Looters and Moochers: the patent trolls.

    If it is as this article states, the best thing would be is to create your software and he who has the best strategy to protect it wins WITHOUT THE GOV'MENT playing Nanny. It was the same way with monopolies getting the help of government to squeeze and eliminate competition. I understand about piracy, competition and patent infringement; however, I think those clever enough to create this stuff should be clever enough to protect it; else, where does the government involvement end?

    where ya been?
    socialist app providers don't want to worry about stepping on toes, and they had a a bigger voice in NZ. Not that the legislators "got it" by any means. Do you think they all are squatting in somebody else's home while they're writing their apps? Because it is the same principle, you know.
