there are two kinds of capitalists: Constructive, like Elon Musk, Steve Jobs etal: and destructive like Wall Street traders and corporate raiders. Comments?
The devil is in the details. Creative destruction is essential to capitalism. Most Wall Street traders serve an essential purpose, however some are there to loot. Corporate raiders whose purpose is to destroy companies and profit from the destruction often in order to eliminate competition unfairly must be differentiated from the venture capitalists whose purpose is to invest in companies to keep them solvent but sometimes in the end bet wrong and must let some failing business’s fail. This often looks to the casual observer as the same thing.
