A spokesperson for the California Department of Water Resources told KRON that a number of employees working under the Folsom contracting company Syblon Reid violated the terms of their contract by posting the pictures.
A Syblon Reid contractor had forbidden a spillway team from capturing any activities at the dam and sharing the footage via social media. The contracting company has enforced this “no social media/no photos” policy at all of their construction sites.
Last weekend due to emergency evacuation people had a half hour to get out only to sit stopped in traffic for hours and hours.

Flash flood watches affecting more than 21 million people are in effect for Los Angeles, Ventura and Southern Santa Barbara counties, the National Weather Service said.
“The storm looks to be the strongest storm to hit southwest California this season. It is likely the strongest within the last six years and possibly even as far back as December 2004 or January 1995,” according to the National Weather Service.
Parts of the south-facing foothills and coastal mountain slopes could see up to 10 inches of rain through the weekend, meteorologists said
