By taking action against Islamists and not being afraid of offending all Muslims they are motivated to separate themselves and aid in the solution. It is a fact that there between 1 and 2 billion Muslims and it would be unjust to blame them all. It is far better for everyone to unite the good people everywhere against the extreme zealots that endanger us all. Muslims more than anyone should condemn the extremists for their own protection. If there were a bunch of old, short, white guys going around blowing people up, I would be the first to speak out and take action against the perpetrators before someone took a shot at me!
