I wonder how that math is working for them? Oh wait. Math is now interpretive.
The second young black female employee said, "HE better watch out for ME".
I was feeling my age, cranky, depressed, tired and in no mood for false bravado, so I said as I trudged past, "I'm white, I'm old and I'm a man, I don't have to watch out for anybody."
Well, isn't that the essence of my "white privilege" and "male privilege", supposedly? That I don't have to watch out for anybody, because I'm "privileged"?
