    It is unfortunate that this concept of natural rights is not emphasized in our schools. It is a primary principle of our founding

    People have Rights from the moment of birth and the Constitution is designed to protect them. Almost allm if not all, of the progressive agenda is an attempt to switch that around and make the Constitution and Government the granter of rights.
    Howard Roark and John Galt would shudder at the thought of the government as granter of Rights to individuals/ I reasonably sure they don't even like the idea of the government as the protector of rights, given the way government prostitutes everything it touches.
    The Constitutions originally limited what the central government could and should do and well as putting limits on the ability of the individual states to impact rights of citizens.
    Times are changing and not for the better.
