Ayn Rand
When something doesn’t seem to make sense I think of this quote. We are assuming all these revelations will have negative consequences for O; but they don’t seem too. What premise are we fundamentally wrong about? The media? Federal Politicians? There’s something we don’t know and it can’t be good. A government by the people is a romantic idea. Why do I feel nostalgic?
I wonder just how much cowardliness can be attributed to all of the NSA data mining that we are learning about?
I think of J. Edgar Hoover, who held his job until his death solely because he had so many 'files' on politicians, and civil rights leaders. Many historians claim that he was the most powerful civil employee in Washington.
The head of the CIA at the night of Benghazi, David Petraeus, publicly stated that he did not sign off on the final draft of the WH video spin. Next thing we know, e-mails are produced that place Petraeus in a sex scandal...ending his career.
One other Benghazi major player (I can't recall his name, but he was still military) had the same e-mail sex scandal happen.
Can you imagine what the WH could have on the members of Congress?

I remember reading after the Venona papers were released that Hoover knew McCarthy was right and was just using him to flush out the communists... McCarthy was a boisterous windbag and the wrong messenger with the right message at the wrong time. Hoover was a real player. A very scary one that liked secrets. There is much power in secrets so long as you have more security than Breitbart. I still think something rotten in Denmark happened to him. Things just don't add up...
Obama was your choice for the job, remember?
Exactly who did you think you were putting in power, since you claim that he is an 'empty suit'.
My answer would be George Soreass....
The average 'guy on the street' will never hear about this. But our Congress needs to be paying closer attention, now that Egypt is fighting for her life against these terrorists.
You are the one that was proud to have voted for Obama, and to support him and his failed foreign policy. Everything that your choice for President has done has turned the Middle East into a "entanglement".
Now...who is being "ridiculous"?
And now the muslim connection comes out. I suspect he (O) has a much more solid connection that he will ever admit.
You are far too kind!
Everyone that voted for him has never paid attention...then, or future.
Remember that video that supposedly showed one of his bodyguard's lizard features? ;-)
He has an allergy to the truth...and mistakenly hit the FOX channel while channel surfing.
The problem is that they are monthly mandated, but you will be on a 6 month waiting list.
We will have to go to Canada in order to comply....
Oh. Hi, KH!
Your question.... (Are we on a secure line? Good.)
'Yes'. I have memorized all of the Affordable Health Care Act, and let me state for anyone that might be listening, that I REALLY love it!
In my humble opinion, 3500 pages were simply not enough...I couldn't put it down! There just HAS to be a sequel...and I (like all of us here) will hold our breath until you do us that favor.
The sub-paragraph on page 724, that exempts everyone from the mandatory monthly flu inoculations, except registered Republicans and/or registered gun owners, was a stunning plot twist! Didn't see that one coming!
Thanks, Nancy and Harry...you guy's are just great, in my book!
Now. KH. Look under that certain rock (you know where...wink...wink) for the Producer's expanded version of this private (cough) response.
Then there were Edward "Ted" Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, brothers of President John Kennedy.
You can amuse yourself for hours with Billy Carter, President Jimmy's brother.
On the other hand, Milton Eisenhower was apparently the same staid and plain hard worker that his brother was. I guess that it goes back to the parents as with the Bushes, though we all make our choices, as with the Carters.
President Obama was raised by his mother, an American. Blame her for his outcomes, if you want; but condemning him for the actions of his paternal second cousins is just silly.
