119 year old cigar company in FDA's crosshairs

So, a company is profitable, has 130 employees, and sells a unique product. Time to put the screws to it. Because they can't classify it as luxury, because the cigars are $10.00 and under, and they use antique machines in rolling the cigars, so it's not "handmade", the FDA is looking to regulate them like a cigarette. They're not cigarettes!
It's just one more insidious way of over regulating something to the point of extinction.
P.S. Eudaimonia, this made me think of you. Do you sell these at the cigar shop? If so, I say we smoke a few for the CT gulcher's farewell party. :-)

The article doesn't say what the Feds are going to do, but it will probably be a per stick sin tax.
Of course, the argument is bogus.
You can't pick up high quality cigars at a 7-11.
You usually have to go to a high end shop.
Not the type of place kids try to get tobacco at.
