    Full disclosure, I didn't read past the above quoted line because of how it misindentifies two aspects of reality, objectivism and the current political climate.

    Objectivism never will be a primarily political philosophy. Politics are an application of philosophy and even Rand herself never gave specific suggestions on how to operate the limited government she suggested.

    Currently, everything is titled left. You can't be elected unless you profess belief in some aspects of economic regulation and social freedom.

    This is where I stopped reading; "Ayn Rand, the controversial libertarian novelist and philosopher.

    How many times do I have to scream, Rand was not a libertarian!
