General Cartwright is paying the price for Hillary Clinton’s sins

Call me naïve. I believed that the laws of this once great country applied to all of its citizens. Apparently they only apply to us "little people". Some can do as they please, laws be damned. We had a President who resigned over threatened impeachment because he erased ~18 minutes of audio tape. Yet the Federal Bureau of Investigation cannot seem to perform its core mission - to investigate - when Hillary Clinton and team deleted and bleached over 33,000 emails from her "homegrown" server - many no doubt containing classified information (such as the one containing the name of an Iranian double-agent, who was killed after her emails were breached - amazing coincidence).

This is a dark time for this once great country. I can only hope that We The People can truly make America great again.

I agree that it is good to shine the light of truth on the corruption we currently have in the highest offices of the land, but I don't see it making a difference. Either people don't get it or don't care. I suspect it is the latter, since big government has become Santa Claus, and the majority of the population has become so dependent on Santa.

If I am correct, it is definitely time to go Galt.

I think it's gone beyond the possibility of going Galt. In order to make it effective we'd have to start by ignoring all the media, cancelling subscriptions, and putting them totally out of business. I'm starting to think there are too many brain dead Americans that just don't pay attention. Can we effectively drive the corrupt media out of business. What about our schools, how are we going to protect against their biased teachings? The majority seems to be the only force left in this country if it can coordinate it's efforts. Who owns the majority today? Which way is it swinging?

This site is interesting. One question I have that I didn't see in the FAQ is what if politics and interest groups hijack the convention to get changes that allow more gov't spending/intrusiveness.

Your concern is quite unlikely and well protected against. 1. The state resolutions define the scope. 2. The state representatives to the convention (the commissioners) are selected by the state legislatures. 3. These representatives are instructed and limited to the predefined scope. and 4. The proposed amendments (and they are only proposed) must be ratified by 3/4 of the states to become part of the constitution.

I have no knowledge of the mechanics of a convention. When I hear about people changing the Constitution, though, I have a fear, possibly unfounded, that they'll change the Constitution in the wrong way.

I couldn't stand it last night when I had to listen to the idiot make public the nuclear release timeline. When I was part of the early warning community, the timeline was considered top secret, special access information, and I'm sure it is still supposed to be classified in that manner. I have yet to hear any talking head or government official make note of Hillary's public disclosure as yet another example of "extremely careless" (actually gross negligence, but then we'd have to lock her up) regard for classified information.

"The FBI will continue to take all necessary and appropriate steps to thoroughly investigate (scapegoat) individuals, NO MATTER THEIR POSITION (emphasis added yet not to include a nominated presidential Democrat candidate during a Democrat regime), who undermine the integrity of our justice system by lying to federal investigators," said Assistant Director Pinocchio Abetted.
Me dino was gonna write the above word for word with

One of the basic problems is the compulsion for some that "greatness" of a country is defined by successes on the battlefield against pipsqueeks, its ability to bully other peoples, and the misguided idea that "leaders" must sacrifice all achievements of individuals for the undefined "common good."
America doesn't need to be GREAT. America's people are great. America needs to abide by the rules of the constitution having government with very limited powers. Greatness comes from individual achievement, not from government overreach or executive orders.

The only way the Clintons will be brought to task is with a never ending cry from the public. But it won't happen with the feeble voices of a few conservatives. So they get away with it. As long as the wind blows in their direction, nothing will happen. If the cry could be raised long enough and loud enough -- but I repeat myself.
