unintended hilarious consequences
freedomforall posted a useful and serious article, and I didn't want to include this hilarity in it.
On the sidebar, there's an ad for roadkilltshirts.com, and today's sale is buy 3, get 6 free. [!!] A basic shirt is $20. Some examples, you ask?
Good things happen to those who wait.
"wait" is crossed out, and
go out and earn them
is written in.
Teach your kids about taxes -
eat 30% of their ice cream.
I'm not very good with advice -
Could I interest you with a sarcastic comment?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This was not what I expected.
They have many politically correct shirts [according to our definition] as well.
We all have to wear t-shirts, and sometimes my Atlas ones are in the wash.
Enjoy!

Best to do this tasty ice cream stunt after a young child has done something to earn it.
First talk about federal income taxes, then take really big chunky 1/3 bite of the ice cream.
Then talk about the state income tax and take another 10% chunk of what remains.
Then talk about that state taxing things that are bought, which you represent by another 10% chomp of what remains.
Then tell the kid that since he is self employed they promise to give you back some ice cream if you don't die first, and then take a good whooping 20% chomp of what remains.
Don't bother with things like capital gains which are pre-taxed before you are taxed, or many of the other taxes, just hold it the ice cream for a while while you say how complicated the tax code is and how much time it takes to fill out all the forms.
Now let the kid enjoy his remaining melted ice cream.
This basic lesson of real life could be taught in public schools. Contact your PTAs.
Ha...MINE!
Here are two others I saw years ago, I'm planning to get printed locally...
Good leaders are scarce.
So I'm following myself!
CHEER UP!
Things may be getting worse
at a slower rate!
Anyone who says that the economy is picking up is an ostrich with their head stuck in the sand. Until MAJOR changes are made to the way our government is collecting and spending money, our economy will only do worse until it collapses entirely - AS-style.
What you can do: VOTE. Then tell all your friends about the effects of liberal policies. Then tell them to turn off MSNBC, CNN, etc. and go take a basic college economics class.
And get ready to shoot those who didn't prepare when they come to take your food.
This was not what I expected."
I have to get that one... sigh
