How can somone who doesnt want to provide something because they find it morally objectionable, be discriminating if they dont provide it to anyone? This case is a question of freedom for an employer, not a question of a right of an employee. As of yet we havent gotten to the point where you "owe" somone a job, and until we do a man deserves the right to determin if he will include x y or z as compensation. Whts next? Methadone for folks who have a "sickness" called heroin addiction?

Ah but we are. Check out employment law. Fire a minority, woman, age protected, and be sure your documentation is sound. I once was part of an age discrimination case. I replaced someone who was not doing their managerial job. I was in my early 20 s and they were in their 60 s. I increased sales by 30 % and reduced overhead by 15%. I was the star witness in the case. Regardless of the facts my age and prior experience worked against the company and they lost the suit.
