Late middle age, retired with a teen daughter. Introduced her to ASP1&2. She loves it. Somehow I raised a good conservative kid who is conversant with rational self-interest. Or at least that is how I define it.

    I have, my daughter has not. She is enamored of the movies, though, and is very excited about AS3. I keep her abreast of what is happening here. I have not read 'Virtue' but am willing to give it a go.

    Yay, Welcome John. Introducing your children to AS I and II movies, must mean you had a basic view of Objectivism... A rational self-interest.. have you read, "The Virtue of Selfishess?"

      Hi Mike. Is your kid a conservative? I would cringe if mine had views different from mine but I raised her to think for herself and make decisions on her own. Doesn't mean I can't give a little guidance here and there but she still has to make own path when she leaves here. I hope I have given her the tools to make decisions based on her happiness.
