Since when do we need to target slices of our population? One politician in my lifetime did not pander to women, Latinos, whites, blacks, or greens. He had a straightforward message that resonated with the nation as a whole. When did we lose that ability to communicate in such a way that people pull together rather than operate AGAINST one another? This is more of the politics of division, and it needs to stop.
