Isn't it kind of scary what a high percentage of children of achievers turn into philanthropists? The degree of altruism seems to be proportional to the amount of unearned wealth.
I intentionally left the Clinton aspect out of my comment for just that reason. My comment was meant to apply far more generally. People respect the money they have earned themselves. Many who do not earn wealth, and yet have it, treat money cavalierly. This is implied in Francisco's money speech.
Of course NBC is paying her $600,000 a year. NBC is such a pathetic looter, they need all the political 'pull' they can get. Chelsea thinks everyone who is unemployed (like she is) should haven't a care in the world. F^&*ing monarchist.
When I think of philanthropists, I think of someone like John Huntsman, ( invented the foam molded egg carton and the Big Mac box, etc) and has made it his goal to spend every penny of his earned billions on cancer research and treatment (Huntsman Institute) and other noble programs that truly help people in need. And he does it all very quietly. The Clinton's are moochers and looters of the highest order. It is appropriate that initials of the Clinton's "Day Of Action" (on her very classy T-shirt) are DOA. Cheers
Why does she say these things like I am supposed to automatically respect her for it? Philanthropy is great when it is done quietly for your own purpose. She just wants people to think she is great and noble.

But it's our choice to ignore it - and we will!!!
