Driver updates are always free directly from the manufacturer of the hardware and if you're running Windows, they also usually get updated automatically during windows updates. Never pay money for a driver update. Paid updates are often a scam - I see such programs also helpfully let you know you've got viruses on your computer (when you don't) and then offer to install a remover (which is itself actually a virus).
