Theory: Obama has been planning this for a while now, knowing he has enough on Hillary to indict her. Had the Attorney General indicted her based on evidence from the FBI this plan wouldn’t have worked because the DNC would have quickly come up with another candidate
Many people on the left, including the President [surprised?], want Obama to stay another four years. The law prohibits him from being re-elected so the only two ways he can do it is by:
1) Declaring martial law and suspending the election (which would be a very negative thing for the country), or
2) To declare himself still President because the elected candidate cannot assume her duties.
The latter makes more sense and is actually more feasible. And since it’s never been done before, it would set a precedent that would be difficult to challenge.
What if?

That seems fair and logical...that's why it'll never happen.
It's usually about making more mailings affordable for spreading the word.
But how more public awareness could ever stop O the Great and Powerful from declaring martial law is beyond me.
Administrative costs may help pay for a Paul Revere's Caribbean cruise and some such stuff maybe.
HOWEVER the military though it has never done so is required by their oath of office to act when the Constitution is in danger. They alone decide what all that means So far they are willing to let the whole requirement slide for whatever reason. Maybe another eight years of welfare and food stamps will change their minds.
Martial law can be, depending on each State, declared by Mayors.

So lets to a WHAT IF. He can make a case against Hillary with ease just charge her with copycatting and her whole program is anti-constituional. He could probably make a case againt the others Since he controls the top Careerists in he Pentagon ... But WHAT IF number two those people were removed by office by the rest of the military who now had been called to take ovcer did so. and then deemed certain Generals, Admirals, Congressionals and one each non abdicator as a clear and present danger to the Constitution.
Military oath has nothing iin it about country or citizens. Officers appointed over does not include traitors. Obama would be cutting his own throat to make it easy for them. knowing he only controls a few at the top and they are easily removed.
Remember he wanted to increase the power of the Protective Echelon the DHS to be eqal to or greater than the military. What does their oath of office state?
I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. Unless of course there are side deals.
