Representative Sheila Jackson Lee wants to introduce a bill which will cut Fed funding to any state which will not registering their neighborhood watch groups and which will not replace their "stand your ground" laws with
"duty to retreat" laws.

Now, normally I don't agree with Representative Lee (Economics in general, Apollo 11 landing on the Moon and not Mars, etc.) but here I have to agree with her.

DO IT.
The People no longer want your misgovernance, your threats, your blackmail, or your bribes.

I’m very concerned the truth didn’t come out that Travyon was a user of street drug called Lean. It is created by mixing Watermen fruit drink (which is what he really bought, not ice tea) and skittles and cough syrup. His liver was shot from being a user according to the autopsy. He talked about it in text. The side affects are aggression, paranoia, and psychosis. Thank god Zimmerman had a gun. That kid was a mess. Where the hell where his parents? He is home from school on his third suspension and he is roaming the streets looking for a cheap high?? Nice job mom and dad. He should have been grounded and under supervision. This was an at risk youth. I wish Tray’s parents had focused on him in life with half as much gusto as they are focusing on his death. Federally-fund that!

why haven't we read more about that?? Remember the cop who was suspended for bringing in a bag of Skittles to work? Cops know all about these concoctions.

The liberal media picked their side...and it wasn't Zimmerman!

Nothing detrimental to Travyon would ever see the daylight while the trial was on schedule. And, now, it appears that these background checks are too embarrassing to be shown.

The defense had to know, but would have been foolish to try to demonize the 'victim', even in the press. They argued the case upon the law, and nothing but the law, and that was a stroke of genius.

I’m talking about the general public. The kid was taking a drug that makes you paranoid, aggressive and prone to hallucinations. The public should have been informed about the concoctions instead of pulled into this sad narrative of a little boy on the way home from the store with his ice tea and skittles. I didn’t know till recently. It’s past time to tell the truth. His dad has started a Trayvon Martin foundation. I’m sick of seeing this family profit off their neglect. A seventeen -year-old-boy with liver damage from drug use. How could they not know? Some news anchor should do a special on the concoction and show the general public the destruction this street drug has done to young lives, Somebody please do something to cripple this faux-pity-party being thrown by these half-ass parents. I realize my rant has nothing to do with the article on Shiela Jackson Lee, so I apologize for derailing, but I’m just livid about this.

I have read much about George Zimmerman. Seems to me he is a sound fellow (in general) and would certainly have got such a permit.
So, no effect except more paperwork, more license fees, more gov jobs, hey that is what matters . .

'I would like to have a gun license, please '
'Do you solemnly promise never to use it?'
'Sure. I'll keep it in my lunch box as prescribed in the regulations '

So sad to see you buying into this liberal spin.

You do know that 'Stand Your Ground' had NOTHING to do with this case? And that the law was never cited by the defense?

And that in Florida, the black minority community has statistically benefited more from this law than any other race?

Please take a deep breath, and think about what you wish.
